On Saturday, Fenway Park paid tribute to the first responders who put the Tsarnaev’s brothers reign of terror to an end as well as to the memories of those who perished at their hands.
David Ortiz then took the mic and dropped a f-bomb. Under normal circumstances, it would be crude and out of place but never has a f-bomb sounded so righteous.
If that wasn’t enough, Neil Diamond flew across the country to personally lead the Fenway faithful into a singing of “Sweet Caroline”.
The Red Sox did their part by beating the Kansas City Royals 4-3 on a three run home run by Daniel Nava. It is their seventh straight win.
