Obama Calls on Iran to “Reduce Tensions”

In President Obama’s annual Norwuz message to Iran, he called upon its government “to take immediate and meaningful steps to reduce tensions and work toward an enduring, long-term settlement of the nuclear issue.”

Reduce tensions? Obama might as well have prescribed some Advil. His statement comes across like that of a landlord politely asking his tenant to keep the noise down. Speaking of apartment buildings, look for Obama to be far tougher in his rhetoric when discussing Jewish settlements when he visits Israel later this week.
