Well, 2014 is here.
Don’t worry!!! I didn’t spend the night in front of the computer. Earlier this evening, Christopher and I saw The Blind Boys of Alabama at First Night Boston. Nothing stirs the blood quite like gospel music.
We got back here in time to watch the ball drop in Times Square. It’s good to see Ryan Seacrest invoke the memory of Dick Clark. Miley Cyrus is keeping it low key and seems to be looking forward to seeing Billy Joel play. She’s not alone.
I won’t be staying up too late though. My big fun takes place on New Year’s Day. Chris and I are headed to Cambridge tomorrow. We have an appetite for a big dose of laughter and a cup of Duck Soup. It can’t come a second too soon.
