Sources are telling the Associated Press that Sonia Sotomayor will be President Obama’s choice to replace David Souter on the Supreme Court. She will add to the court’s diversity, but follow in Souter’s footsteps as a reliable liberal vote but lacking — according to some liberals — the intellectual firepower to go up against Scalia.
