The Democrats pick up a House seat as political neophyte Bill Foster beats Jim Oberweis to succeed the former speaker in Congress. This is just a reminder that even though the Democratic presidential contenders make the Keystone Cops look professional, a lot of the fundamentals in this election cycle cut against the Republicans.
