Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice endorsed Meg Whitman for Governor of California on Monday.
Rice has rarely weighed in on political matters since leaving the office of Secretary of State in January, 2009. She currently teaches American Foreign Policy as a professor of Political Science at Stanford University.
The endorsement might help with independent women voters — but it is safe to say that there isn’t a big enough center-right/conservative political science grad student voting block to make much of a dent in the Republican Primary.
