They cite his support for the war, his personal qualities and his "straight talking." However, among the reasons for supporting him are also: support for campaign finance reform and opposition to Bush's tax cuts. Likely a mixed blessing. The Palm Beach Post

The good news for McCain: campaign finance reform is low on most voters' list of priorities and immigration reform likely earns him as many votes as he loses. The real battle here will be I think on economics-- at least judging from my inbox filling up with missives from all the campaigns.
