Charles Koch’s Radical Beliefs
by

Charles Koch talked with Mike Rowe of “Dirty Jobs” fame. Their conversation is well worth listening to. It’s surprising to those on the Left that criminal justice reform is important to conservatives. In fact, in Texas, massive reforms have lead to less recidivism, less incarceration and drops in crime. That’s heartening.

Conservatives are concerned about the individual. Each person with his or her gifts, used to their best ability, can make a positive difference. That’s the whole point of freedom, after all.

My favorite quote from Mr. Koch:

“People who lead happy, fulfilling lives are ones that develop their abilities and figure out how they can best contribute … and they’re rewarded for it and respected for it.”
