Obama’s Subpar Apology

By on 11.8.13 | 1:00AM

For an apology to be genuine it requires that the person making it must speak with contrition and be prepared to make amends.

President Obama’s “apology” on Thursday night during his impromptu interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd was neither contrite nor is he prepared to make amends with those who have lost their health insurance as a consequence of Obamacare.

Instead, Obama continues to insist that those who have lost their heath insurance will be better off once they can access the insurance available on the Obamacare exchanges. Obama claims the canceled plans were “subpar”. Who the hell is Obama to tell people who like their health insurance that their plans are subpar?

As I argued a couple of days ago, Obama was lying when he said, “If you like your health insurance plan, you can keep it. Period.” What he really meant to say was, “If I like your health insurance plan, you can keep it. Exclamation point!!!”

The only thing that is subpar here is President Obama’s “apology”.
