Here's something I missed last week. Having gotten the Democrats in a tizzy over his picky insistence that Congress be consulted before the president goes to war, Rand Paul showed he could be an equal opportunity offender. This time, he trained his sights on a likely Republican presidential candidate and former House speaker:
"I was happy to see that Newt Gingrich has staked out a position on the war; a position or two, or maybe three," Paul said Wednesday at the Congressional Correspondents' Dinner. "I don't know. He may have more war positions than he's had wives."
The freshman Republican senator from Kentucky also dinged Fox News, joking that they were undecided between whether it was more fun to bash the president over Libya or cheer the dropping of bombs.
