Qaddafi is a bastard. For Lockerbie and what he's done to his own people, he deserves whatever he gets (except in the event he gets to remain in power). But this kind of interventionism has no limit, committing us to any war except the literally impossible (e.g., a land invasion of China). Do we really want to adopt this elastic a definition of our national interests?
