Bernard Nathanson died yesterday at the age of 84. As an ob-gyn, Nathanson was involved in over 75,000 abortions and helped found NARAL, which then stood for "National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws," before becoming a leading pro-life activist. It was Nathanson who narrated and wrote the pro-life film Silent Scream, which President Reagan screened at the White House.
