Prince William County Chairman Corey Stewart is mulling a challenge to Sen. Jim Webb (D-VA) in 2012. Stewart was a major player in the Northern Virginia county's crackdown on illegal immigration, an issue some hoped Webb would become a leader on when he was first elected in 2006.
In other news, Webb wasn't among the seven Democrats who voted for Sen. Tom Coburn's (R-OK) binding earmarks ban. Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) was, however.
