State AGs Prepare to Sue if Obamacare Passes

Attorneys General Henry McMaster of South Carolina and Bill McCollum of Florida are preparing to file a lawsuit in federal court if Democrats pass health care legislation, the Associated Press reports.

McMaster said he expects more state AGs to join him. If the special deal for Nebraska gets removed, McMaster said he would still challenge the individual mandate. In January, he noted that the mandate would extend Congressional power to regulate interstate commerce to a case in which individuals are not purchasing something.
