Asked about Mark Levin's vow of a looming lawsuit against the "Slaughter Rule" -- the violation of the Constitution being pushed by Capitol Hill Democrats that would enable the "deem-and-pass" convolution -- White House press secretary Robert Gibbs immediately backed off topic today, mumbling about hypotheticals.
Earlier, Gibbs confessed that he, Gibbs, wouldn't have gotten through the first semester of law school. Clearly, Gibbs is aware that Levin, a former chief of staff to a U.S. Attorney General, author of two bestselling books on the judiciary and the Constitution, as well as president of the Landmark Legal presentation …ahhhh…did a bit more than that.
Levin has clearly made an impression in his old haunts. Somewhere Ronald Reagan is laughing.
Tough day, Robert?
