Gore and Robertson on the Couch

By on 1.17.10 | 11:09AM

Now seemed to me a good time to recall how Pat Robertson is a spokesman for other sober ideas, like the "global warming agenda" (Even if Al Gore's team appears to be shying from the association  -- a result brought about by nothing Sharpton did  or said; talk about strange standards and a sign you've overstepped the bounds.  You'd think the guy that invented the internet would know that taking down a link doesn't make something go away).

The Reverend's most recent moonbattery reminded me of a passage from Red Hot Lies: How Global Warming Alarmists Use Threats, Fraud and Deception to Keep You Misinformed, in the context of Gore et al pointing to other Rev. Robertson rantings, not that dissimilar from last week's, as proof that their fear-mongering was well-grounded:

As August 2006 petered out and the hurricane season plodded along without helpful storms to shriek about, green pressure groups issued daily press releases commemorating the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina with the ultimate low in the debating dodge of an appeals to authority, by listing politicians and pastors who accept alarmism.  "How crazy can I be?  Pat Robertson believes me!"
