Donald Trump is much quieter today, after having seemingly cycled through every personal insult he could muster over the weekend.
Either he's finally run out of ideas, or the wheels are in motion behind the scenes to ensure that Trump's criticism of Fox News is limited to what he can pull together in 140 characters. For Fox News, at least, the latter is preferable. And rumor has it that Fox is looking to rectify (or at least calm) Trump's troubles by airing a one-on-one live interview in prime time this evening, where Trump can answer all those tough questions he couldn't handle in a debate format.
Donald Trump and the Fox News Channel are in talks about Trump possibly appearing on Fox on Monday night, according to a source with knowledge of the talks.
Trump has been lambasting Fox for days, ever since he was challenged in last week's GOP debate. He has complained that the Fox moderators were unfair to him during the debate.
