Scott Walker raised some eyebrows yesterday when he said the construction of a wall along the U.S-Canadian border was a “legitimate” issue in an interview with Chuck Todd of NBC’s Meet the Press. Todd asked Walker if he favored building a wall along the southern border, then why not the northern border? Walker replied:
Some people have asked us about that in New Hampshire. They raised some very legitimate concerns, including some law enforcement folks that brought that up to me at one of our town hall meetings about a week and a half ago. So that is a legitimate issue for us to look at.
