The liberal media has spent more time today analyzing Marco
Rubio’s sip of water than President Obama’s SOTU address which is
sure to hose and soak taxpayers of trillions of dollars.
If Marco Rubio were a Democrat, the liberal media would be
telling us how his swig of Poland Spring humanized him. They would
call such an act refreshing. Instead Rubio is being
waterboarded.
Well, count me “waterbored”. The liberal media are a bunch of
drips anyway.
In the grand scheme of things, this will all be water under the
bridge.

Just another nice reminder of how the liberal media is nothing more than a hack propaganda ministry for the Democrats and how they have singlehandedly become the biggest menace to our very system of government when they can control narratives in this fashion.

Further evidence that much of the media are simply propagandists for the statist movement. The don't mention the substance of the speech, but offer the public a distraction by focusing on a superficial moment. Such media outlets don't deserve anyone's attention. They should be ridiculed for their efforts and a new, more substantive and objective media should be encouraged.

Rules for MSM coverage of Hispanic Senators:
1-Republican Senator makes awkward-looking move while reaching for a bottle of water during the response to the SOTU: ignore the speech entirely, obsess over the water bottle reach, even opine that this 'incident' may be a 'career killer'
2-Democrat Senator gets free trips to the DR from a sleazeball Democrat supporter with ties to the Florida Democrat establishment (including the national Democrat Party Chair), does favors for said donor, including intervening in an investigation of the donor's practice of overbilling the US taxpayer by millions, even arranging for port security equipment to be stopped from being sent to the DR, and is accused of screwing underage prostitutes and participating in sex parties arranged by his donor friend: "Nothing to see here, move along..."

Our politics are truly ludicrous today. Anyone familiar with debates or formal speeches knows that water is placed within easy reach in case the speakers become parched. Just another example of the absolute lack of knowledge on the left along with their penchant to highlight meaningless things to divert attention from truth and reason.

Is it not amazing to see how the media spent so much time on a drink of water? Just when you think that the glare of their bias is so blinding that even they must notice and try to shape up, you are reminded that they are no longer interested in being journalists, and are now propagandists.

No one watched the Obama speech and even fewer watched the Rubio rebuttal.

The MSM are morons. I have IBS. The meds for that give me xerostomia. So what?

Though there is no defense for Rubio's outrageous insult of all African-Americans (not just Barak Obama), let me say that this President has me drinking from the bottle, as well.
And if Rubio had any class, he would have insisted on John Kerry's brand.
RCV| 2.14.13 @ 12:28PM
Relax. The sip of water thing ultimately turns to Rubio's advantage. His PAC was smart enough to immediately sell water bottles as a fundraiser ("Rubio not only inspires me, he hydrates me!").
This becomes a negative only if you make it so.
