American Crossroads spokesman Jonathan Collegio made an appearance on Washington’s WMAL radio today. In the course of his appearance he referred to the Media Research Center’s Brent Bozell as a “hater.” Twice.

I will be discussing this tomorrow in my regular column. But in the meantime, I have inquired of Mr. Collegio and he has issued the following statement:

My words — they belong to no one else.

Bozell called us “fake conservatives” — which is language that perniciously and unfairly judges the motives of others, and fails to acknowledge that there might be honest differences on strategy within the conservative movement.

For my part: I said that in the heat of a talk radio debate, I regret contributing to the vitriol, and I apologize to Mr. Bozell if it offended him. Believe it or not, I’m a big fan of both him and MRC.

 More tomorrow.

People who adopt the language of the left are leftists at heart.

If Rove and his merry band of RINOs really are conservatives, why are they expending far more time and effort attacking diehard conservatives like Brent Bozell rather than liberals like, say, Olympia Snowe?

Don't you love the non-apology? "I apologize IF it offended..."

Toyko Rove has to go. He and his pals haven't won anything since 2004. They only won then becuase of a huge turnout by conservatives opposed to homosexual marriage. In the last election he spent over 100 million to elect people he liked. He won only one contest. The people he liked best were not conservative. So maybe that is a good thing.

Rove has outed himself as the enemy of all conservatives.

The problem with Collegio's taking offense at Bozell's statement is that the buch over at AmCrossroads are fake conservatives. A Neoconservative is not a Conservative. Period. If Collegio is offended by that fact, then change the facts. Otehrwise, tough luck Collegio.

Same goes for "Turd Blossom."

Once again, it ain't Bozell's, Rove's etc fault, but 11/6/12 was simply [as Morris's statement testifies to below] the fault of the STUPIDITY OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE:

"......He said his expectations for Romney ended up far off because he expected enthusiasm for Obama by Democratic voters to have waned from 2008 levels, as GOP energy to defeat Obama rose. But the opposite happened, Morris said, as Obama voters came out in droves and more than 8 million white voters stayed at home and didn't vote for Romney....."

In this corner - Conservatives.
In this corner - Stooges of the Republican Consultant Complex.
The latter are still trying to explain away the failure of their latest "most electable" candidate to get elected. Anyhow, they won in a sense by getting rich despite their worthless advice.

As long as so-called conservatives like Sean Hannity keep giving Rove a forum on their shows he'll never go away. Why doesn't Mark Levin criticize his buddy Hannity along with Rove?

MOS was 71331| 2.8.13 @ 12:39PM

Amen, Crassus. I fully agree with Mark Levin, and I'd extend our disdain for Rove to a number of "progressives" Hannity keeps bringing on his show: Bob Beckel and Alan Colmes.

When GW Bush ran against Gore and the Florida vote counts were showing Bush the Florida winner, Beckel tried to persuade Bush electors in the electoral college to switch their electoral votes to Gore.

And when Colmes appears to "balance" Ann Coulter, Colmes spouts lie after lie and breaks in when Ann is speaking to dispute those lies. Colmes simply talks over everybody he disagrees with.

I don't recall Hannity having "Reverend" Al Sharpton on his show, but that man shouldn't be allowed to speak on any talk show. He has actually incited riots in which innocent people have been killed by mobs. On MSNBC (more accurately MSDNC), he has the effrontery to criticize people he falsely claims don't pay their taxes (such as Romney), when he doesn't pay his taxes or court judgments against him.
