Scott Brown has decided not to seek the GOP nomination for next June’s special Senate election here in Massachusetts.

I am not surprised by this decision. If Brown managed to win he would have to run again in the 2014 mid-term. Methinks he’s had his fill of that.

I do think Brown will run for office in 2014 but, as I have argued previously, it will be for Governor.

The People's Republican of Massachusetts can slide into the Atlantic so I don't care who represents them at this point.

I would be cool with the entire city, along with Cambridge, being swallowed up in that pit the call the Big Dig. And not just financially but physically as well.

Lynch has a track record on social issues to the Right of Scott, at least in rhetoric--he'll soon betray as much of course, so there is really no more point to Scott and Goldstein is a radical pro-abortion, gay rights sort which clouds his points.

You know, in the novel Caliphate, Tom Kratman has LA and Boston (and KC) nuked, with bombs planted but not exploding in NYC and Chicago, and exploding as low yield dirty bombs in Washington and Houston. The elimination of Boston and Los Angeles improves the politics of those two states immensely. And the quality of movies playing in the USA.

Scott lost to Fauxcahontas because he betrayed those who got him elected. He is finished politically in Mass and it's past time for him to fade into a well deserved oblivion.

The excuse "he's the best you'll do in Massachussetts" is no excuse. He pretended to stand for something when he was originally elected, but then didn't stick to what elected him. If he had stuck to the path, then lost to the fake Indian, he could at least hold his head high because he went down honorably. Instead, he went down as a squishling Quisling, and he richly deserved the loss.
