So true. So true.

The media thinks that it's 1st amendment rights are somehow different than the 1st amendment rights of the people it makes it's profits from are.

the Left has always believed that the First Amendment is meant for 'me, not thee'

What's truly funny about the whole thing is that Tiger made the same point, and the media is tied up in all kinds of knots-imagine their dilemma-Tiger Woods, the ultimate sports 1%er, an obvious target, but they have to hold their liberal fire because of...his race(s)

The difference is the media has already destroyed Tiger. They built him up as a mythical super hero and got to destroy him when his ugly side got exposed. Mission accomplished.

Mickelson, well, they didn't get to build him up but they are sure gonna try to tear him down.

And they wonder why so many Tour players live in FL and TX, states w/o an income tax. I know some "progressive" municipalities have taken it upon themselves to tax professional athletes for that portion of their income earned within that municipality. For example, a Florida Marlins player that plays 3 games in Yankee Stadium in the course of a season would be taxed by NYC on 3/162 of his salary. Perhaps Tour players should boycott tournaments in states where they feel their income is taxed an an unusually high rate?
