Failure. He gave a speech. He should have made her talk. That's what she's there for.
Simon Templar| 1.23.13 @ 12:11PM
He is running for office in 2016 and is starting now.
This is why. Good observation and point, however.
Redfray | 1.23.13 @ 12:19PM
You think anyone can make her talk? She is not going to tell the truth for anyone.
JimH| 1.23.13 @ 12:27PM
I see she is made of sterner stuff. Give her the comfy chair!
Bob Grant| 1.23.13 @ 12:28PM
Failure? ...he got a specific answer to a specific question on record. Better than the overrated McCain who, I'm sure, will be on Greta tonight talking about how he nailed her to the wall, which he certainly did not!!!
Indy| 1.23.13 @ 1:40PM
He wanted to get on record some of the ridiculous spending the State Dept has made in lieu of beefing up security.
I wish he would have asked about gun running and tying in the terrorist attack in Algeria, the intelligence loss in Libya may have directly led to the recent attack and killing of more Americans and other Westerners....where are the surviors of the Libya attacks? Anyone in the media curious as to what they might say? Oh silly me, honest media does not exist.
RCV| 1.24.13 @ 11:57AM
Hillary should have replied, "What did you say? I stopped listening at 'If I had been President ... ".
(Guffaw)
Bandido| 1.23.13 @ 12:18PM
H. Clinton is one of the worst political hacks of the last hundred years. A real feminist icon, huh? Clinging to her husband's name and a bootlicking media to advance, without which help she could not have been elected dog catcher. What on earth could possibly qualify her to be Foreign Minister? Ignorance of history and geography is not a qualification. Has she penned any geopolitical analyses? Crafted any strategems? Of course not. How could she? She is one of the stupidest individuals ever to hold public office. Yet fawning senators and media continually refer to her as brilliant, revealing themselves to be even stupider than she is. We are seeing the triumph of the imbeciles.

Fox News Babes must be creaming in their panties over the Benghazi Coverage for NeoCons this is better then Autoerotic asphyxiation.
Bob Grant| 1.23.13 @ 12:30PM
You're a little too descriptive there, Queenie.
Bob Grant| 1.23.13 @ 12:33PM
Don't you worry. I'm sure later today at the House hearings Frederica Wilson will get to the bottom of this.
CYNTHIA OSORIO| 1.23.13 @ 12:57PM
Thank God Rand Paul isn't president!!!
Kingofthenet| 1.23.13 @ 1:16PM
I think the DSM IV list's 'GOP Benghazi Syndrome' as one of the hardest to treat psychosis.
Occam's Tool| 1.23.13 @ 3:25PM
No, it doesn't, and DSM-5 will be out in May. Thanks for playing.
Nice to see that you think ANAL RAPE and MURDER of our Ambassador is small potatoes, King.
Dr. Rand Paul is correct on Clinton. What I would ask here is what degree of assault on our top Representatives do we allow before we atomize a country. After that occurred, Libya should have been bombed flat, to encourage the others.
Dimitry_Aleksandrovich| 1.23.13 @ 1:27PM
Benghazi is small potatoes the real story is about the weapons that we armed (the overwhelmingly Islamist) anti-Ghaddafi rebels with that have since found their way into the hands of Islamist forces in Algeria, Mali, maybe Nigeria (where Christians are being killed by Islamists and their Churches burned to the ground). The arms are also "finding their way" into the hands of CIA backed Syrian rebels who are killing Christians and other non-Sunni minorities (Alawites, Druze, etc) and setting fire to their holy sites.

That's the real story and that's the story we need hearings on and anyone in the Administration, the State Department, the Pentagon or on Capitol Hill who is supporting Islamist rebels in Syria and who supported them in Libya. They need to be held accountable for the crimes of the Islamists and the aftermath of our current interventions in the Middle East.
Occam's Tool| 1.23.13 @ 3:25PM
Indeed, Dmitry, the Arab Spring is a nightmare, as Islam is everywhere it goes.
Dimitry_Aleksandrovich| 1.23.13 @ 8:10PM
It's not good for anyone least of all the Arabs who have to live under the Islamists which the Coptics and more moderate Egyptian Muslims can most definitely attest to. I don't see where its good for Israel, I know Netanyahu's government supports regime change in Syria. Maybe they believe that it will weaken Iran, but if I was the Israelis I'd rather deal with Bashar al Assad and a strong centralized Syrian government than a decentralized Syria in the hands of Sunni Islamists.
Indy| 1.23.13 @ 1:58PM
I missed the hearing due to work, I take it nobody bothered to ask a question about the rules of engagement our troops have been operating under in that region? Who signed off on rules of engagement? Why Marines were not allowed to have live ammo on September 11th?
Teflon93 | 1.23.13 @ 4:31PM
I would have cast my lot with Paul for President had he merely insinuated Hillary was spending her time staring at Christina Aguilera's rack rather than doing her job.
Third Army| 1.24.13 @ 12:41PM
I wish I could wipe that smirk off her face.
