Now, Boys: Be Nice!

Just read this piffle from CNN:

House Foreign Affairs Chairman Ed Royce, R-California, met with Republicans on the committee and urged them to be respectful of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a GOP member of the Committee tells CNN… While most lawmakers on both sides of the aisle genuinely do respect Clinton and don’t have to be told, there was concern some new House members may try to be combative in order to make an early name for themselves.

What is this, a session of the House Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary and Secondary Education?

If pointed questions are not allowed, what is the point of forcing Mrs. Clinton to testify? If I want to treat myself to a parade of yawn-inducing accolades, I’ll read the jacket copy of the heavily remaindered Living History.

When you're trying to bury your own party, certain rules must be followed.
