OTOH, given his behavior in the Derbyshire incident I am compelled to say that Rich Lowry is a coward. Nor is he a conservative. Sorry I have to disagree that Lowry is *not* one of the good guys.

You're entitled to your opinion. Quinn brought up the good guy nonsense, not me. And, Rich Lowry is a coward. He marked himself as such with the Derbyshire incident. That you disagree with the timing is your problem, not mine.

His Dad sounds a lot like my Dad, except mine actually fought in WWII, that's not any disrespect to his dad, he wasn't old enough. RIP

Rich is a very decent fellow, as I have found from personal experience. May his father RIP, and may his family know serenity and acceptance.
I like John Derbyshire very much, and he, too, is a very pleasant fellow that I have some personal experience with. (He helped me select a mathematics curriculum to homeschool my kids.) But I don't think this is the time or place to slam Lowry.
