The Spectacle Blog

Based on good reporting by the WaPost’s Chris Cillizza, showing that more Dems are vulnerable in 2014 than GOPers, I explain at CFIF why a bad deal is worse than no deal. Defense cuts do worry the heck out of me, but I think Congress will go back soon and restore the defense spending. Aside from that, there’s no good reason to accept a really bad deal — if a bad deal is indeed forthcoming.

Being no expert on political mechanical operations, my ignorant opinion on same is that a politician has to basic choices regarding voting on proposed legislation: YES/YEA or NO/NEA! Unless an opponent is holding a weapon to one's head, threatening to wipe out your family/friends etc unless you vote according to his wishes, why-the-F cannot you simply vote the latter if you disagree with the contents of said legislation? It would certainly avoid having Santa acroos the street from you look your way and yell out...... HO, HO, HO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
