"Don't you know that I'll always be true..."
Besides this weird hit, Iron Butterfly was best known for being blown off the stage by LED ZEPPELIN on a nightly basis, after they made the enormous mistake of signing them on as the opening act when Iron Butterfly went on tour.

Not to mention the strange story of Philip Taylor Kramer, who played with the band in the 70s, became a rocket scientist working on missile guidance, who then disappeared mysteriously in 1995 (fueling speculation that he was kidnapped by the Chinese to fill in the gaps that they weren't able to buy from Clinton-campaign contributors at Loral Systems, or steal with their spies). His skeletal remains were found in 1999 along with his wrecked vehicle in Decker Canyon in California, and as he had been threatening to kill himself at the time of his disappearance, his death was ruledto be a suicide.
