I agree. If you have something to say, say it. I have no idea what this link is going to provide me, and unless the writer tells me why it should be worth my time, I won't bother.

And at some point, you have to figure out what words should and should not be capitalized in your headline.
There's a guideline for this somewhere. A journalist of all people should know.

Being a journalist often means being subject to public abuse. Please don't take it personally. Our democratic republic is dependent upon good, objective reporting. I thought Robert Novak's "The Prince of Darkness" was an interesting insight into the life of a syndicated columnist. Its a tough but vital job.
