Fair enough, although I think Hannity is capable of reasoned discussion (although he lets his guests get away with too much). After all, there's the Colmes/Hannity show that went on for many years.

There is absolutely no comparison between Maher and Hannity. Maher praised the 9/11 terrorists for having courage to fly planes onto our buildings. He uses filthy sexist words to describe conservative women.

Sadly, I believe I saw that Maher's ratings are at or near an all-time high. Certainly most of the people I know in Vermont love him. And why not? He's an obnoxious, narcissistic, pseudo-intellectual liberal who is driven by hate, envy and a sense of moral superiority. Just like your average liberal.
I think in a couple years, we'll be looking back on liberals' calls for conservative suicides as the halcyon days of yore; what they're gunning for - pun intended - is eventually to round up every last conservative and, uh, eliminate us.
After all, nothing says tolerance like mass murder. Hey, it worked for Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro . . .

We were the last great hope of the earth. The one place on the earth where everyone could look to and dream about. Ask an immigrant, from any country, why they're here. They're easy to find. They're all around you.
And now it's over. It will never be the same. We have kicked into high gear our long slide into darkness and despair.

While I'm not happy about what happened, I'm not ready to completely give up on the future of this country.
What has been done and what will be done can be undone. However, the cost will be high and it won't be even a little bit pretty. I'm willing to pay it. Are you?
