Logic Lacks

Of course they do not teach logic these days. That would require thoughtful analysis of issues and matters of concern. We live in a world where emotional response is the accepted priority; where, "it's the right thing to do" trumps any cost-benefit and where government is the expected parent.

Keeping government power down should be an obvious good for young men. Enforcing situations where sexual relations that result in offspring makes the man responsible for care for his sexual partner and the offspring should be an obvious good for young women. Thirdly, having sufficient numbers of youngsters to grow up to take care of them when they reach old age should be an obvious good for both young men AND women.

But that requires logic.
