Much crudeness in ABC's approach. As Debbie Schlussel notes, Petraeus was an Islamophile and disliked Israel. The Lord of Hosts will kick your ass!

Schlussel might be correct in this case, but her opinions are made questionable by her paranoia. Simply disagreeing with her on policy is enough to get a person labeled an anti-semitic commie, and stupid too, of course.

I don't know what to believe anymore. With the administration hiding and spinning each new scandal and MSM acting as a branch of the DNC, you have to be suspicious. Not that I doubt that it happened, but this seems awfully convenient for the administration: right after the election, and right before the Benghazi hearings.

I never understood why Petraus would work for Obama, and with Hillary who called him a liar, and he also abandoned a real hero, McCafferty.
It is clear now that Petraus was a general politician like Powell. I guess Hillary knows a liar when she sees one with her experience with Bubba.
It seems that Petraus shaded the truth when he testified on Sept 14 that the attack was caused by the video, even though Obama knew it was a terrorist attack. He was going with the administration lie as a good team player.
He should have been fired immediately after Holder was informed about the FBI investigation.
They kept him around to election day then fired him. Now his credibility will be attacked by the lefties.
Will Petraus finally do the honorable and tell the truth?

Petraeus's mistake was not having an affair per se. It was having an affair with someone of the opposite sex.
If he had cozied up to a male subordinate/associate/affiliate ( or whatever Broadwell was) he wouldn't have to resign. No! The halls of PC power would be vibrating with cries of righteous indignation at the oppression and prejudice of it all, spontaneous protest marches would be organized with clockwork precision all across the country and an "Occupy" detachment would be stinking up Lafayette Park this minute.
And if he had gone in for a San Francisco Special
( same sex partner, a Shetland pony and a household appliance to be named later; wedding photos extra) he'd be on his way to senior statesmanship and his own foundation for International Peace and Carbon something-or-other.
One part of America's heritage is still alive: it still pays to go big.
