Thanks to AmSpec reader “Occam’s Tool” for pointing this out…

Read it and scream

What more can you say about Joe Biden and Barack Obama? The fact that Obama has a better than even chance of being reelected says as much about the American electorate and the media as it does about Obama himself, and none of what it says is good. A country gets the government it deserves.

If any American military man or woman votes for Barack Obama, he or she should feel ashamed.

looking for a teleprompter, or some other distraction. How long before media goes after Mr. Woods, father of Tyrone, slain American who 'stepped in' in lieu of Obama's absence?

Better than even chance?

I don't think so.

Landslide of epic proportions.

Ross Kaminsky| 10.26.12 @ 10:01PM

I hope you're right, and I don't say it's impossible. I've thought for quite a long time that Romney would win. I still think it's reasonably likely, but a landslide seems something of a longshot if nothing else changes.

Sadly I fear the democrats and their journOlisters are going to destroy this man. He dares criticize the Obama and he must be destroyed to protect the Obama.

BREAKING NEWS...
Central Intelligence Agency director David Petraeus has emphatically denied that he or anyone else at the CIA refused assistance to the former Navy SEALs who requested it three times as terrorists attacked the U.S. consulate in Benghazi on the night of Sep. 11. The Weekly Standard reports that Petraeus's denial effectively implicates President Barack Obama, since a refusal to assist "would have been a presidential decision."

IMPEACH.

Only if he wins, Saint.

Update (5:53 PM ET): President Barack Obama reportedly refused to provide a direct answer to repeated questions on whether requests for help in Benghazi were denied as the attack was underway during an interview with 9News in Denver on Friday.

Kyle Clark, a reporter with 9News, asked the president about the requests for help and whether or not it was fair to make Americans wait for answers on Benghazi until after the election.

“The election has nothing to do with four brave Americans getting killed and us wanting to find out exactly what happened,” Obama said. “Nobody wants to find out more what happened than I do.”

The president went on to say he wants to “gather all the facts” and find out “exactly what happened” and bring justice to the terrorists who attacked the U.S. mission in Libya.

IMPEACH.

State Department refuses to answer anymore questions at press conference today.

Boner needs to get it up and call them back from their little break....

This is getting truly insane.

JeffP| 10.26.12 @ 10:21PM

If the latest updates are correct (Wood's requests for military assistance were denied during the attack) then someone needs to fall for this. The Administration is staffed with knaves and fools, but I always believed General Petraeus to be an honorable man. In a better world he would resign in protest. Unfortunately, this is Obama's America.

Bob Grant| 10.26.12 @ 11:10PM

"In a better world he would resign in protest. Unfortunately, this is Obama's America."

Indeed!

And the disheartening truth is if honorable men/women who voted for obama '08, or who are considering voting for obama in '12, don't either sit out the election or switch their vote for Romney, he will more than likely be re-elected.

We need honorable men/women to step up to the plate and demonstrate their displeasure with the current occupant of the Whitehouse. In Petraeus' case, that would mean resigning before the election.

That WOULD HAVE meant Colin Powell refraining from endorsing obama or endorsing Romney.

Whether you vote democratic, republican, or libertarian you should understand this man does not deserve a second term based on his actions as commander in chief.

Let's see several million dollars worth of ads built around General Petraeus's statement and run them through November 6. Keep the heat on the Democrat leadership on what incompetent functionaries and incorigible liars they are.
The most important tasks now facing Republicans is to mobilize our voters and to watch the polling places like hawks. The Democrats will try to cheat as they always do. I suspect they have managed to block much of the military vote already and I don't hear anybody really raising unshirted Hell. We need our big guys around the polling places when the union boys and the Black Panther types show up. If the Republicans have not already mobilized several thousand lawyers to counter Democrat legal shenanigans, they are already behind the power curve. Keep up the enthusiasm generated by our boys the past few weeks. Stay thruthful, tough and ready to do battle with the Democrats. They view politics as a blood sport, that's what we have to deal with. We're learning, but we need to KEEP UP THE FIRE.

A Newsmax writer is proposing that this was possibly a staging point for a massive gun-running etc operation being conducted out of a Muslim country with little/no government and spearheading fighters and arms to Syria etc. The possible implications indicate that the operation "Fast&Furious;"may have been much more than suspected/reported/investigated, in that the guns/arms were not ending up in Mexico so much as being funneled through that country on their way to the Middle East. Is there a connection with a Lybian ship/vessel loaded with arms/small missles docked/inspected at a Turkish port that was supposedly on its way to Syria [and there has been indications that some of its onboard arms may have been possibly used in this Benghazi situation]? Also reported is the presence of several warehouses within Lybia that were possibly used as storage areas for the arms confiscated after Gadaphi was removed [again to be exported to Syria etc]. Was the Benghazi attack exclusinary, or was it part of a much larger operation involving the US's diplomats/military/administration ??????????

Its a pretty low blow by the Obama Administration's Village Idiot, Joe Biden, but I think Mrs. Clinton was even worse when she told him that the administration would prosecute and jail the producer of the video. Have these people no shame whatsoever. Biden a rude clueless joke, but Mrs. Clinton was talking like the chief of propaganda, Joesph Goebbels, claiming that Poland attacked Germany to start WWII. The Obama administration should go after the killers, not promote the false propaganda story of an video angering muslims.

Albert Constantine Jr.| 10.27.12 @ 10:34PM

Oddly enough, speaking of propagating a lie, the promise to arrest and imprison the producer of the video is one of the only promises this administration has actually kept.

RJ| 10.28.12 @ 12:53AM

So true and it is a disturbing state of affairs when murders abroad result in an arrest in the United States of someone who was not responsible for them.

Occam's Tool| 10.28.12 @ 12:43AM

Thank you so much, Ross. Joe Biden is so inappropriate here that it defies belief.

A simple, "Thank you, sir, for your sacrifice. I am awed by your late son's devotion to duty and love for our country, and as long as we have heroes like him our country is in good hands, indeed. What a marvelous father you must have been."

Classy, easy to do, and kind. I have had to deal with grieving parents and sons and daughters before.

Biden's comments rival the worst comments regarding a child's death that I have ever heard of: a pediatrics resident, exhausted from a hard night of being on call, tells a mother that her sick child just "bought the farm." That was unconscionable. This is worse.

Cpm| 10.28.12 @ 1:29AM

Plugs was probably a little bemused that Mr. Wood's son had the audacity to try to rescue others against instructions and wound up being killed, much to the Obama administration's chagrin.
