With sickening, slanderous, unethical charges from Rep. Elijha Cummings and scare tactics from SEIU and a bunch of other lefty groups, the patriotic “True the Vote” organization, dedicated to keeping elections clean and with many safeguards in effect to absolutely ensure fair play by its own volunteers, TTV founder Catherine Engelbrecht just said on a conference call that she is “increasingly worried about the safety of our volunteers.”

If Republican and conservative leaders, congressional and otherwise, don’t speak out and use all their power in defense of TTV, and if fair-minded, politically neutral outlets don’t do their own homework and A) realize that TTV’s actions are all laudable and above-board and B) proclaim the same from the rooftops, then these leaders and observers have absolutely no guts, and maybe no integrity.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with volunteers monitoring elections. It is a laudable pursuit. Moreover, TTV’s findings have repeatedly been shown to be legitimate, with the organization successfully uncovering numerous examples of vote fraud. This is not a threat; this is a service to the republic.

Anybody who complains about True the Vote can and should be accused of deliberately supporting the likelihood of fraudulent election practices.

Oh, and one more thing: Cummings is officially scum.

Why would you expect the RINOs on the hill to do anything courageous? They never have and they never will. Better to get along to go along.

Oldefarte| 10.20.12 @ 11:17AM

It ain't the "RINOs" that are the problem, but rather the DEMOCRATS [who constantly fight against voter ID laws]. These lawyers/judges [both federal and state] who are 99% Democrats are the ones who rule in favor of said Democrats' efforts to prevent the passage/implementation of these ID laws. If you want to complain [and rightfully so], then direct your arguments to to true source of the problem, which again is DEMOCRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Rats get away with it because the RINO "leadership" lets them get away with it. The Demonrats and the RINOs are the problem.

Cheating to win is part of the elitist totalitarian mindset. If you have to cheat to win you naturally assume a greater wisdom than the majority.

By "true the vote" Quin, you must mean GOP tactics like the fraudulent voter registration drive in Florida, the GOP worker in Virginia who was caught this week dumping completed voter registration forms in the trash, the continuing efforts to curtail early voting to make it harder for and traditional Democratic constituencies to have their votes counted.

Quartermaster| 10.22.12 @ 9:14AM

Yeah sure. We might take you seriously if you were for measures to control vote fraud. The problem is your side wins through the rampant vote fraud that goes on.

Save your effort about vote fraud. It is known to not only be a problem, it is a pervasive problem among traditional Democrat constituencies. That's how you creeps have been winning elections since 1932.

RCV| 10.22.12 @ 10:54AM

Right... "fraud" and "the media" are always your whines when you lose.
