Against conventional wisdom, I actually think Romney didn’t do
too badly on the Libya question last night. Even though I think he
could have made some other strong points, I thought the points he
made have now focused attention on an area where Obama is quite
weak. That said, here’s
one point that could have been made that continues to merit
attention:
The Obama Doctrine is not spontaneous or new. Secretary of
State Hillary Clinton foreshadowed it in aJuly 2011 speech before the Organization of
Islamic Cooperation, or OIC, an international organization
comprised of all Muslim-majority nations. Clinton promised
the OIC that the U.S. would endorse a government campaign using
“old-fashioned techniques of peer pressure and shaming” against
citizens who do or say things that the government “abhor[s].”
Clinton’s words were warmly welcomed by the OIC, which had been
campaigning to limit free speech in western democracies for more
than a decade. This most recent OIC speech-restriction campaign is
called the “Istanbul Process,” and Hillary Clinton is a
proponent.
In short, the Obama team is weak on free speech rights when it
comes to criticizing anything related to Islam. This is a
legitimate issue.

I am not sure what people expect from Romney. Was he suppose to just ignore, cut off the moderator and just flagrantly break the debate rules? Given the circumstances , which apparently seem to be continually ignored, he did great.
What is it about conservatives that they continually second guess their people, accept double standards, and swallow the general narratives that the liberals push out there?
This is a serious question. Nick, Pecos Pete, TP, anyone?

Simon, maybe it's just because we expect Obama to be beaten up more, esp when there are so many opportunities. Ryan and Romney each did fine in the last debates, but there were some big openings that could have really "moved the needle" (to use an overused expression) that were not taken advantage of.

Quin, I don't think this is something the suburban soccer mom cares about, and until Romney wins that's who he needs to focus on appealing to.

Romney is doing fine. He continued to make the case against Obama, with ease. Obama's in trouble as evinced by the continued, biased efforts by the "media" to help him. Were it not for the damage he's done and doing to the country, I would certainly enjoyed the dismantling of a monumental failure of a presidency, hidden from the public by a subservient democrat media. I like our chances more and more every day, and I could care less about handwringers and defeatists.

correction: ...I would certainly much more enjoy...

Lets cut to the chase with this subject, okay? On 11/4/08, Americans elected a POTUS who is NOT a Christian. Sure he languished inside a black liberation theology [so-called but NOT] Christian church for numerous years, but that was solely due to political ambitions. He needed this arrow in his political quiver if he ever hoped to go for the gold in the policital arena, which he did and which he has. His childhood upbringing was mostly inside Muslim oriented/dominated countries/cultures and you can bet your last nickel that he's very familiar with a prayer rug and the Koran. After 11/4/08, this country's government quietly began the process [under the public's radar] of Islamification of its institutions and policies [any doubt concerning same should re-read the Army chief Casey's statements regarding the needs of the US military following the Foot Hood massacre, ie DIVERSITY. This Benghazi situation is a ultra-clear reflection of same, in that these diplomats were either purposely lead to their slaughter or our government's supreme attempts to massively cover-up same is a FACT. Either case results in this nation being armpit deep in excrement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
