An exciting experiment. Years ago, I had a colleague who was working with Joe Kittinger on a project and I will never forget Joe's resume, which started with his world records. Looks like he will have to update it by stating that most of them were unbroken for 50 years. I am glad to see that Joe was working on this experiment. Congratulations, Felix. Well done.

Really fantastic, but as a Cessna 210 driver, I've always wondered who would jump out of a perfectly good airplane. I know I couldn't.

Does anyone know where the capsule ended up?

Amazing jump and technical effort. I made one from 21,000' years ago and Felix's effort makes mine seem like a 10 second delay, in comparison. Met Kittinger years ago and he told me that the effort to go that high and jump is a serious endeavor requiring immense planning and meticulous execution. Wunderbar, Felix!
