Moynihan and Scoop Jackson were at least patriotic Democrats, who believed in the concepts of free markets and individual liberty. That Democrat party is gone with the wind. Today, power alone is their goal not good governance.

Viewers from the New York area of a certain age watching Biden last night with his antic gestures, may have been reminded, as I was, of the old Crazy Eddie electronics store commercials. Except now, instead of the prices, it’s the policies that are INSANE.

I was taught never to make fun of someone who is an embarrassment to themselves and those that care about them. But, probably, Biden is too inappropriate to realize. We all have relatives like him. Some get a pass because they are always a little drunk at every family gathering.
