This column is a week old, but still quite relevant. I meant to link to it here last week, but forgot. A key recurring theme is that “the Jews chose peace; the Arabs rejected it.”

Isn't it ironic that libs accept blindly the meme that there should be no imposition of one's religious beliefs on others, as stated so eloquently by our Vice-President during the recent debate when asked about abortion, yet that is all the middle east Muslims appear to want to do, and are willing to use deadly force to accomplish those goals-but that is somehow OK and requires no response?

The question becomes then if someone disagrees with providing assistance or sympathizing with one's historical friends, then alternatively who does that person then support? Realpolitik has gotten us into a heap of trouble over teh last 70 years. We were allied with Joe Stalin against Germany when Stalin was our mortal enemy, more so than Germany was. Stalin caused us no end of trouble after the war, and was working hard to undermine us during the war by infiltrating his puppets and moles into FedGov.
So much for the "enemy of my enemy." It has always been a very short sighted way to conduct foreign policy. The last 70 years has shown how short sighted our alignment with Stalin was, so don't be an idiot.

Thank you, Ken and Frog. Any help is welcomed; unfortunately, a small minority cannot always depend on its own resources.
You may find it interesting that Israel is "may issue"; you can only get a license if you show a need. However, there are enough soldiers going to or from base (carrying their weapons) at all times that we have the same effect as "shall issue".

An old diatribe of mine. Poverty in oil rich regions, and Israel only a tiny part of the Middle East, yet the source of every evil, according to the liars in control, there. The most perfect example of scape-goating, when what the people in the Middle East should be emulating what Israel does, in helping its citizens. Some one of import should point out the foul game being played. Why does anyone imagine that if Israel disappeared, suddenly things would get better? Amazing how lies live on and on.
