President Obama just can’t let that bad debate go.

During a radio interview this morning, Obama attributed his subpar performance to being “too polite” with Mitt Romney.

President Obama can be accused of being many things. Being too polite isn’t one of them. If looking down at your shoes and appearing otherwise irritable is Obama’s idea of being polite then I don’t think he’s going to help himself by being angry. While I suspect he won’t adopt a southern accent, demagoguery does not become him whatever his dialect.

Clearly Obama just doesn’t get it. He didn’t lose the debate on account of being too polite. He lost because he had no energy, could not defend his record in office and, as I argued yesterday, just wasn’t intelligent enough to be in the same room with Romney.

This means we're getting 50 references to the 47% next week.

Because lying, false accusations and not looking at your opponent is oh so polite

During the debate, Obama looked pretty much the same to me as he has for over four years now. Perhaps his supporters saw the real Obama for the first time. More likely, he simply failed their image of him. They saw with Wizard of Oz for what he was.

I am glad that Team Obama is still talking about the debate. He did about as well as he could in the first debate. I expect he will unravel in the next one. And it will get better soon. As someone said earlier today, how would you like Joe Biden to represent your team this Thursday?

No doubt Obama will now challange Romney to a BOWLING [or baseball throwing] contest!!!!

Bummer is going to get pounded in the FP debate. Libya is a superb example of his stupidity.

How DARE Romney not stand there and wear the strawman outfit the Left has created for him?????

I hope Obama is less polite to Romney for that will assure he will lose the debate . In addition I hope he goes out there swinging because that too will assure he will lose the debate.

I guess this means that he can’t effectively argue his point across without being rude and insulting.
