“Comedian” Bill Maher, who was critical of President Obama’s debate performance in Wednesday night in a series of tweets (including one in which he though Obama could use a teleprompter), expressed further displeasure on his show Friday night.

Maher said, “It looked like he took my million and spent it all on weed.”

Of course, Maher gave a million dollars to the Obama Super PAC Priorities USA back in February. Well, I guess you could say Maher is now all out of joint over it.

Or let me put it another way. Maher is feeling buyer’s remorse.

Most of what is done is wasting Americans' money, quite on purpose. Poor Mayer. Would love to see him alone with Todd Palin, explaining his remarks about Sarah and why Obama did not call him out on 'lack of civility', and took that million.
'I'm a comedian' would not wash

SYAsked, now, I have never 'bought' a pay for view but that is one ass kicking I'd love to watch!

Oh hell yes!

bluecollarbytes| 10.7.12 @ 9:21AM

It took a disastrous moment in PopMedia for the 'insightful' Maher to at least wonder whether Obama is up for the job.

Bob K| 10.7.12 @ 9:32AM

Great pun, Aaron!

Bob Grant| 10.7.12 @ 9:51AM

You could say Bill Maher got all 'wee weed up' over obama's performance.

Albert Constantine Jr.| 10.7.12 @ 10:15AM

Now this remark should be the winner of a major award.

A leg lamp, that is f.r.a.g.i.l.e?

Suitable for positioning in the front window...

Disastrous foreign policy choices that lead to the death of four Americans working for the State Department (including the first ambassador killed since 1979) don't rattle his supporters, but performing poorly in a televised debate provokes their ire.

While my negative view of Obama is largely shaped by the policies and philosophy that he advocates, and is helped by his poor performance on his job in general, it would be easy enough to look at who his long term and/or loudest supporters are, and go with whomever they are against.

I only wish that I could see the day when the 47% would beocme so enlightened as to turn off their TV's when the Bill Mahers appear on same, thereby eliminating his ratings and causing him to go to employment Plan B!!!!!

Bob Grant| 10.7.12 @ 10:16PM

Brother farte,

I've literally had dreams of Comedy Central, HBO, CBS news, NBC news, ABC news, etc. closing up shop because of bad ratings.

Oh, how I would love to see them all in one big circle jerk on Current TV, with Keith Obermann being the pivot man.

Dare to dream.

ncatty| 10.7.12 @ 1:44PM

Choom baby.

Occam's Tool| 10.7.12 @ 7:55PM

Well, Bill, you want to Legalize it. So, may I remind you, Don't Criticize it!

I love seeing a Leftwing asshole 'nad kicked.

I have my doubts about Romney, but I'll give him this: he's blown a hole in leftists' self-image as the smartest guys in the room. For now anyway.

spike59| 10.8.12 @ 5:41AM

the only people who ever fell for that line of malarkey are Leftists anyway

JimH| 10.8.12 @ 8:50AM

This guy also bought a piece of the Mets. Maybe it is because of personal experience that they think that the government can better spend our money than we can.

Oldefarte| 10.8.12 @ 10:30AM

What despises me about leftist pig like Maher is that they are all hypocritical. They usually have tremendous personal wealth which allows them to be above the scene of destruction of the political platforms which they profess. Case in point is the POTUS who currently sends his children to a private school in DC instead of one of the numerous public schools in the area. Why? We all know why, and it ain't rocket science either. They're all like that, the Kennedys, Kerrys, Mahers, Oprahs, Reids, Pilosis etc. How many poor people live in Pilosi's etc neighborhoods [or are even allowed in same], yet they want to shove them all into yours and mine because of their liberalism!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jack of Spades| 10.8.12 @ 2:19PM

Maher et. al. get away with it because the left-wing base won't call them on it. No lefty says "Hey Maher (or whoever)! Give more of your big bucks to the 99%!" And in countries that are full-bore socialist/communist, it isn't their income which gets redistributed. They're hypocrites because their own side lets them get away with it.

JFGalt| 10.8.12 @ 10:36AM

He threw his money into a rathole - what more did he expect? LOL on him!

JP| 10.8.12 @ 2:55PM

"Maher said, "It looked like he took my million and spent it all on weed." "

Well no, not weed. But half a mil can still get you some fantastic blow.

Wendy| 10.8.12 @ 3:51PM

Bill Mahr is an old ugly bag lady upset about his favorite old bag lady man showed his true colors in the debate which was like a coffee clutch....between two old useless bag ladies. The whole election is like a fight between two bag ladies outside a broken down grocery store in the nastiest part of town, screaming at each other over their baskets, who has the most junk to sell....duh..duh
