As a Nats fan that has watched them fall into the playoffs with a mediocre September(thank goodness for the Cubs and Mets), I see them losing to Atlanta in 4 games. The Orioles, my second favorite club, will fall to the Yankees in 5 in a bat fight. Of course, as a natural Kirk conservative, I am negative by nature. If either wins the World Series, I will enjoy a $ 100 bottle of champagne in their honor. A B-W Parkway would be best.

Always enjoy your baseball comments, Aaron. As a fan of the Rangers - a disheartnend fan - I have a hard time even seeing the mustering what it takes to get past the O's. If they do, Darvish will be elevated in the hearts and minds of Ranger fans to status of demi-god (maybe a little less). If he loses, he won't be blamed. Not a bad place to be in.

Young as MVP - goodness - have a hard time seeing that one. How about Beltre?

I'm with you, DWhit. What a disappointment. I wouldn't bet a quarter they'll beat the Os. Aaron, I just can't see them as ALCS champs, sad to say.

Well,

I thought being an east coast guy he'd pick the Orioles by default.

As an avid Ranger fan I'd have to reluctantly disagree with Aaron and say they will not even make it past the O's.

I think the Rangers have seen this train wreck before. Remember the World Series last year?

Eerily similar.

Love the picks. You are a good man Goldstein. I take back every insult I hurtled at you.

You already got one right. The Cards sent Bravesy to the showers even though the Atlanta fans littered the field in protest of a bad call.

And Aaron's AL bracket gets tossed out the window. The Orioles win down in Texas by a score of 5-1.

Your Series prediction goes down on the play-in game, Madame Marie.

Sjccoach| 10.6.12 @ 8:39AM

Once again you are wrong with your sports predictions. The Rangers choked. They are the most over rated team in baseball. Stick to what you do best, i.e. writing obituaries.

I thought it was obvious that whoever Aaron Goldstein betted on, you bet against.
