A Suggestion for Romney

Not that he’s not already getting more than enough advice…

I just visited the Bureau of Labor Statistics web site and downloaded data on the unemployment rate going back to when the started keeping such data, in January, 1948.

Two facts which anybody can understand, thus making them potentially excellent ammunition for Romney, both tonight and going forward:

1) The Obama administration has presided over 43 months of unemployment over 8 percent. In the prior 61 years there were a total of 38 months of unemployment over 8 percent.

2) The average unemployment rate during the Obama administration has been 9.1 percent. There has never been any other administration, indeed no other four year period, during which unemployment averaged 9 percent or higher.

Barack Obama’s economic policies and his job-killing legislation such as Obamacare and Dodd-Frank have been a complete and total failure.
