Somehow, I am not feeling the inclination to be merciful in his case. A little foresight would have gone a long way to making a better judgement about releasing state secrets sold to him by a traitor. Of course, if all the information was complimentary to Obama, things might have been different as well. But alas, too bad for him...a short time in the world spotlight, a lifetime in chains...was it worth it?

"State secrets sold"? That's news to me. What proof do you offer? One man's traitor is another man's hero. George Washington was a traitor to Britain. Most of the "state secrets" were only secret because ot their embarassing content. WikiLeaks attemted to redact leaks that put life in danger, but the sheer volume of leaks made the redactions extremely difficult to do thoroughly. Assange's greatest fear is not extradition to Sweden, its extradition from Sweden to the United States.
