President Obama is scheduled to meet with Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi in the Oval Office today.

However, there will be no press or cameras present. Obama mustn’t offend the military junta.

I wonder if Obama will give Suu Kyi The Dalai Lama treatment.

I hope for her sake that they clear out the garbage this time.

Suu Kyi will be in the U.S. for a two week tour.

You never know, Aaron. She might have requested this herself. She is still in a very precarious position in Myanmar and she may not want to take any chances on embarrassing the leaders.

On the other hand, who knows? One thing is for certain, she is one of the bravest human beings on this earth.

Yes, the lady is truly amazing. Her courage is indeed one of a kind. I wish her all the best.

I would think she will get worse treatment. She does nothing to further his re-election or left wing marxist causes.

The administration has consistently and effectively promoted her cause throughout the past four years. That's why she and Secretary of State Clinton have developed such a close personal bond.
