It must be said, as I watch live footage from Cairo: These people are not just out of their minds, but out of their souls. What idiotic doofuses they are. Juveniles. If they think they are defending their “Prophet,” they are wrong: They defame, not defend, his memory by their violent tantrums. Pathetic. They really need to get a life.

I don't know if they are lunatics, but they sure are angry and hostile. We have very different cultural values. We can try to minimize tensions, but I doubt it the two societies will ever be close and we should never deny who we are in an effort to get along with them.

I think you’re projecting your own Western Christian values, Mr. Hillyer. If you killed a man for insulting Jesus, who famously preached about turning the other cheek, you would be behaving counter to all that Jesus taught, and would not be an example of the practice of Christianity.
On the other hand, I have not heard from any Muslim cleric or scholar who has put forth that the behavior of these mobs and their individual members runs afoul of what is required of a faithful Muslim.
It is but one illustration of significant differences between Islam and Christianity.

When Quin is ready to admit that US foreign policy is insane, these little "cute" comments might have some value, but then, Quin thinks Iraq really did have WMDs--his chief source on this belief is a guy who thinks Saddam really was behind 9/11, so he is likely terminal.

They are far beyond being "lunatics", and if anyone is unaware of their extreme actions I'd suggest a visit to Pam Gellar's Atlas Shrugs.com daily. Being no expert on this so called prophet and not wanting to be thus, my guess is that these sub-humans wearing turbins atop their greasy heads [and desirous of 40 virgins resulting deaths] must obtain their asinine cannibalistic behaviors and ideas from some source [and if not from this "prophet" then from where]. We are supposedly in the year 2012 and these turbinheads are still running around the middle east etc in their dirty little loincloths, donning grimy beards, refusing to bathe, smelling worse than skunks [but lo and behold praising their "prophet"]. Okay, shazam! Why don't these sand monkeys put down their prayer books and unwashed rugs, pick up whats known as encyclopedias/books of references, go to school and learn/become educated, follow the laws of civil societies and social manners, build up their governments and surrounding neighborhoods [instead of exploding and shooting up/destroying same] and attempt to become whats know as HUMAN BEINGS [and therefore of a higher order than the goats, chickens, dogs and cats that roam their filty streets]?????????????????

REGARDLESS of the reality of Mohammed, their actions defame his memory. The point is that if they think they are honoring somebody they think is honorable, they are doing the opposite -- whether or not he really is honorably is immaterial to the effect of their actions.

On the contrary, their actions do not "defame" this criminal, their actions do in fact HONOR him, his memory, and his god. Their actions follow DIRECTLY IN LINE with his (allah's) words, deeds, and instructions. You truly have NO CLUE about islam, evil, or apparently words like "honor" and "defame."

Quin: Muhammed was a child molesting mass murderer---by his own scripture. Aisha was 9 when he married her, and his butchery and thievery is well known. They believe they are honoring him. You are right, they are DISHONORING him, but only by your value system, not by theirs.
The only way to beat them is the way I have repeatedly outlined. It is nauseating, bloody, barbaric, and inhumane. It also works.
