The eleventh anniversary of the attacks of September 11th will
be remembered not only as the day Muslims in Egypt and Libya
stormed our embassies and consulates but for our sad, pathetic,
weak and apologetic response to it as so
well illustrated this morning by Ross Kaminsky.
For those of us who are old enough to remember, it is
reminscient of what happened at the American Embassy in Tehran in
1979. While no hostages were taken there were fatalities including
our Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens. For those of you not
old enough to remember, this could be our future and if we don’t
want this to be our future then the time to change things would be
now.
Well, so much for President Obama’s
Muslim outreach which he embarked upon in earnest in Cairo in
June 2009:
I’ve come here to Cairo to seek a new beginning between the
United States and Muslims around the world, one basd on mutual
interest and mutual respect, and one based upon the truth that
America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition.
Instead, they overlap, and share common principles — principles of
justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human
beings.
If a low budget film by a fringe Florida pastor carries more
weight in the Muslim world than the words and deeds of the
President of the United States then that tells me not only the
emptiness of President Obama’s words and deeds but it also tells me
these efforts to engage the Muslim world are a monumental waste of
time.
The irony in all of this is that Egyptians and Libyans would
have not been able to elect new governments without President Obama
especially in Libya due to our participation in NATO efforts to
dispose of Colonel Qaddafi. The Egyptians and Libyans aren’t
exactly full of gratitude to the United States for ridding them of
their despots.
As for Mitt Romney, he must pound on this relentlessly and
vigorously. He has less than eight weeks to convince Americans that
Barack Obama has been incomplete, incompetent and incapable of
acting in our interests both at home and abroad. Our very lives
depend on it.

Mr Obama's team; wanted to change the subject to foriegn affairs. I guess he gets his wish. How in the world is the MSM going to spin this one. We have about sixty more days of this to go. I say vote Obama and lets just get it over with.

I agree, Mr. Goldstein, that Mr. Romney should pound Obama on this vigorously and relentlessly. Unfortunately, there are several areas (i.e., foreign policy, economy, social issues) in which Mr. Romney can vigorously and relentlessly pound Obama, but I don't see him doing so. What is he waiting for?

Yup. Worked real good, Barack.

The Florida Pastor only has tangential involvement in this film, it was produced and backed by Jews in Hollywood.

I blame NASA

Yeah, and this had nothing to do with these savages celebrating the terrorist attacks September 11th 2001
Obama has to go.
