I surely can not--and WILL NOT -EVER say "President Romney"..
ESPECIALLY , as he did NOT SAY ONE FRIGGIN thing about our American troops still fighting in Afghanistan--WHAT A SHAME,ON HIM!
Stan Redmond| 9.7.12 @ 1:48PM
Four more years of Obama then?
John Navratil| 9.8.12 @ 10:46AM
Pelleas,
Did you catch his speech to the VFW the day before.

You assume, of course, that anyone cares about your little "problems" goober. By the way, responding to an article by changing the subject is a sign of mental laziness and leads one to assume that you can't handle the truth.
Grzmlyk| 9.7.12 @ 12:25AM
Kerry spent all of 19 weeks in Viet Nam. And he won 3 purple hearts in that time. As I recall, one was for getting hit with flying rice after he shot his M16 into the supply pile.
Pretty neat trick to win one purple heart every 45 days. Particularly since his total hospital time was approximately 20 minutes waiting to get a band aid.
He would have won a fourth, but he got that paper cut stateside.
And this clown meets liberals' definition of a hero.
CJW| 9.7.12 @ 8:05AM
With his baseless and stupid comments,Kerry contributed to the situation of not honoring the Vietnam vets when they came home. He even said he threw away his medals when he did not. He did this to ingratiate himself in the anti war movement to build his political viability.
He would be a fine addition to the Obama team except Obama will be back in Chicago in Jan 2013 working deals with Rezko and Rahm and Rev Wright and Billy Ayers.
Grzmlyk| 9.7.12 @ 9:00AM
Great comments, CJW. You are right ont he money - I'd go further: Kerry not only contributed to the dishonoring of Vietnam vets, to a great extent he created that animosity.
And why? Not because he had a moral axe to grind. He simply had political hay to make. And we know that, when it comes to gaining power, every principle liberals pretend to stand for is thrown overboard. It's all about naked power, forcing other people to bend to your will and spending money you haven't earned.
Kerry is a classic ignorant thug masquerading as a refined Brahmin. I'd be shocked if his IQ reached into three digits.
Another resume enhancer for the anti-intellectual liberals.
CJW| 9.7.12 @ 11:05AM
Mr. G
I read that Kerry hired a film company to film himin Vietnam. I remeber seeing films of him walking, with his combat fatigues and rifle, and wondered how did they get that on film? So he was planning to use his war experience for politics, probably first in a patriotic sense with his film company, but then switched to the BillyAyers anti American mode which was popular in his state upon his return.
I do have to complement him on his economic policy. Marry a very rich woman.
Grzmlyk| 9.7.12 @ 11:19AM
Ha! Very good, CJW!
Yes, I'm hoping to meet my 401K plan at a rich widow's club myself!
I recall hearing something to the effect that Kerry hired a film company to capture his "heroism" in Vietnam (I'm sure that rice LOOKED like it was about to attack). Friggin hilarious - and deeply ironic, considering that, when he looks in a mirror, NOTHING is staring back at him.
And yet the overriding principle in John Kerry's life is vanity. If it weren't for vanity, the guy wouldn't even exist; that and craven greed are really the only traits he possesses. Well, unless you count moral cowardice and terminal stupidity.
Like all liberals, he never gave a rat's ass about the principles for which he supposedly "struggled," such as the travesty of the Vietnam war. His cause, like all liberal causes, was simply a pretext to obtaining wealth, fame and power - the triple crown of the Democrat sweepstakes.
As H.L. Mencken observed, "The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false-face for the urge to rule it. Power is what all messiahs really seek: not the chance to serve."
It ought to be on Kerry's epitaph. Which, if there's any justice in the world, will be adorning his grave very soon.

Grzmlyk & W,
The Swift-Boat Veterans for Truth made it clear that Kerry's intent was to make himself into a new "JFK."
This was why he joined the Navy, a la JFK, and volunteered for the swift-boats. At the time he volunteered, swift-boat duty consisted of patrolling the coastal areas and wasn't considered very hazardous duty. By the time Kerry finished school, their mission had been changed, and they now patrolled the rivers the enemy was using to move men & material into Viet Nam, Republic of.
When Kerry found out how dangerous his new duty assignment was, he made short-order in receiving the 3 Purple Hearts needed to get sent home.
After I learned this, thanks to SBVFT, Kerry reminded me of Frank Burns, from M.A.S.H. Specifically, the episode in which Burns puts in for a Purple Heart for being "wounded" during an artillery attack. He lists his "wound" as "shell fragments."
He conveniently leaves out that it was an egg shell that got stuck in his eye, when he dove under a table in the mess tent!
CJW| 9.7.12 @ 2:35PM
Nick and G
Kerry is a loathsome figure. He registered his $100,000 yacht that Teresa bought for him in a state where he did not have to pay the personal property tax, then after it became known, he switched it to his home state and paid. Libs love taxes but don't like to pay them, like Charlie Rangel, Tim Geithner, etc.
During WWII, LBJ, another loathsome Dem, was a congressman, but arranged a flight over "enemy" territory in the South Pacific, then put in and got a medal. During the same time JFK, Nixon, George McGovern, and George H Bush were serving in the real combat zone, along with many other Dems and Reps, such as Dole and Inouye both suffering severe injuries.
Grzmlyk| 9.7.12 @ 3:43PM
Great points all, CJW!
Yeah, the whole POINT in being a Democrat is that YOU don't pay for your lavish lifestyle. The poor schmuck you pretend to give a crap about - the little guy - winds up carrying you in your solid-gold litter.
Grzmlyk| 9.7.12 @ 3:41PM
:-) Thanks for filling in the background, Nick - I do recall that about Kerry's emulating JFK!
And the M*A*S*H episode - priceless! Kerry is like Frank Burns all the way around - minus the libido!
RJ| 9.8.12 @ 2:09AM
Excellent comment. Yes, John Kerry is a disgrace. Whatever he did in Vietnam (and many of those who served with him said it wasn't much) was heavily outweighed by him slandering his fellow service members during a televised Congressional committee hearing. Later he said that he didn't personally see any such events, but someone told him of them - well then, that person should have testified (witnesses are supposed to have personal knowledge of what they testify on), but I don't think even that was true. John Kerry made it worse for returning veterans and then he had the gall to campaign for President as a veteran and "war hero." It shows you how clueless Democrats are thinking that he would get any votes on his war record. Kerry is unfit to serve in the US Senate and the people of Massachusetts should send a more worthy citizen to represent them. It shouldn't be hard to find someone more worthy.
Kingofthenet| 9.7.12 @ 12:37AM
You Disgusting asshole, did you ACTUALLY understand what Kerry did?
jothepro| 9.7.12 @ 5:54AM
The thing he DID was lie about his service to our country. Is that ACTUALLY enough for you, asshole?
Dai Alanye | 9.7.12 @ 8:43AM
Kerry went to Cambodia at Christmas, and he still has the hat!
How well this lying traitor Kerry fits in with today's Democrat party.
Grzmlyk| 9.7.12 @ 8:52AM
If you're addressing your hate speech to me, liberal, yes, I do ACTUALLY understand what Kerry did.
Hence my comments.
The man is an utter fraud - from marrying rich widows to parking his yacht in Rhode Island to avoid taxes, to lying about his service in Vietnam, to slandering his fellow soldiers, to his chronic foot-in-mouth disease to his utter hypocrisy to his moral cowardice to his intellectual inconsequentiality.
But he is a classic lying liberal, living off of enormous wealth someone else earned and decrying conspicuous consumption from Theresa's private jet.
No wonder you love him so.
JmsA| 9.8.12 @ 1:08PM
Add to all that, the mere fact that he tried to fund the communist Sandinista's at U.S. taxpayers' expense.
TinaB| 9.7.12 @ 7:26AM
For KOTN, of course. He's a libtater, so is Kerry, 'nuff said. That whole "Give me liberty or give me death," was totally lost on them. They just do the hustle, and the sheeple follow. Soon the non-minorities will all be led to the plantation, to join the oth serfs or slaves or whatever you want to call them.
Only the Truth will set the, free now. And Truth seems to have taken the last train to the coast, and the day the music died looms ahead.
TinaB| 9.7.12 @ 7:27AM
My keyboard is still waking up, *other and *them.
Houdini| 9.7.12 @ 10:27AM
John Kerry is a typical lib opportunist. If it helps to be a war protester...then he's a war protester. If it helps to polish up your military resume...then he gets out the Brasso. I had the privilege of working with Navy River Patrol guys back in the day and was more than happy to contribute to their campaign in 2004....Obama has decided to take on veterans once again...he should check with Kerry about how that worked out the last time.
Pelleas| 9.7.12 @ 1:41PM
You Repugs still can't deny that Mittens did NOT mention our fighting troops, at the whore-down, in Tampa---AT ALL--CAN YOU?!?
Stan Redmond| 9.7.12 @ 1:57PM
So we should all be up in arms that Romney didn't mention the troops? Does this mean we should keep Obama, who has cut military "investments" (favorite new word for government spending in lib-speak) and left the pentagon twisting in the wind.
By the way. From Ben Stein....
"The GOP made a big mistake at the convention not paying homage in a huge way to the military and their families. The Democrats drove a truck right through that hole and the Republicans got run over by it."
