I watched Ann Romney’s speech online. My connection wasn’t reliable so I didn’t catch everything she said.

But there was one question she asked I really liked.

“Did we raise our children to be afraid of success?”

No, but the Obama Administration is banking on the youth of America to resent it.

Some of her other good lines included:

“We’re smart enough to know there aren’t easy answers. We’re smart enough to know there are better answers.”

“Mitt Romney was not handed success, he built it.”

“This man will not fail. This man will not let us down. This man will lift up America.”

Ann Romney demonstrated why she is her husband’s best asset.

I can’t wait for Governor Christie’s speech.

I thought Ann's speech was weak, she talked about how Willard made her laugh, but gave no examples, Now Chris Christie, was fantastic, he has that VERY Authentic quality that will appeal to a lot of people.

Your comment is an example of how you make me laugh.

We agree on Christie however.

I assume you are a male of the human species - no insult intended. I too am a male and found the speech a bit lacking; however, after a quick poll of a dozen women who watched the speech, they thought it was a hit. Now these women are all working women with families - my point is the speech was to women and for women and in that case it was a hit.

An "example" of how your boy makes Moochel laugh is when he's sitting in bed at 2AM wearing his turbin and has a cigarette dangling from his mouth whle reading RULES FOR RADICALS!!!!

Christie is a good speaker, Ann isn't Pure and simple. Christie at least comes off as someone who believes is certain values, Ann comes off as believing in a Man

Ann comes off as believing in a Man

and this is somehow undesirable????? Queenofthenuts, you've outdone yourself in utter, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz/Snooki/Meghan McCain weapons-grade stupidity

Oldefarte| 8.29.12 @ 12:18PM

Yeah rumor has it that Deb will stand up on her two hands in NC and then see if anyone can thereafter tell the difference visually!!!!!

spike59| 8.29.12 @ 5:42AM

well, all the 9 inch wide 'booby belts' were sold out; seems Moochelle used up the last of the stimulus money at Tar-Jay...

Oldefarte| 8.29.12 @ 12:16PM

It was one of those """""CHAINS""""" that your boys proclaimed earliar, KINGFISH!!!!

Ann Romney's speech was simple, heartfelt, and on target. she was not there to bring fire and brimstone or deliver a stemwinder of an indictment of the current rodent infesting the Oval Office, and she wasn't there to deliver some stupid Moochelle lecture on what her man was going to demand of everyone in his mission of salvation for all who would follow his mantra of hope&change; she was there to let everyone know that, contrary to the MSM narrative, her husband is a real human being with real beliefs, real convictions, real ideas, and a real heart and soul

To anyone at the RNC who gives a damn, the convention should be radically shortened to match the modern day's attention span and feature the presidential nominee's acceptance speech and, perhaps, the vice presidential nominee's acceptance speech, and that's it. For every base voter who thrills at, for example, Bob McDonnell at the podium, there must be five times as many persuadable voters who switch off in boredom before the main event.

Oldefarte| 8.29.12 @ 12:21PM

Yeah, I mean it ain't no GD, AMERICA from Flip's REVERAND FROM THE CHURCH OF THE HERE AND NOW, is it?????

Do Black Mormons have no shame? Do not they realize they are puns, novelty stars, while in truth they are despised by the MORMON religious culture built on "whiteness?"
Mormons believe that people's blackness came to them as a curse upon their people, according to the Book of Mormon, Nephi 12:23, they became a dark, and loathsome, and a filthy people, full of idleness and all manner of abominations. And that according to Mormon 5:15 this people shall be scattered, and shall become a dark, a filthy, and a loathsome people...And according to Jacob 3:5 they "... whom ye hate because of their filthiness and the cursing which hath come upon their skins..."??? Do Black Mormons have no shame to opportunistically sell out on their color, heritage, and self respect? Has Mia Love have no shame?
Mia Love, get off your knees. Have some respect for the great courage Black People in this country had to endure for people your color had the freedoms you enjoy and take for granted. Do not sell your color so cheaply and have some self respect. There is plenty of toilet paper in the convention.
