Hey, Aaron, Its Isaac churning off the coast of Cuba right now, not Ike.
Sjccoach| 8.25.12 @ 9:45PM
Maybe President Obama is steering this hurricane the way President Bush steered Katrina.
Bob Grant| 8.26.12 @ 5:40PM
President Obama doesn't care about African Americans. Afterall, he's just barely one himself, if at all.
Grzmlyk| 8.27.12 @ 8:33AM
Well, personally, I think that, since Bush basically retired from public life, it is Dick Cheney alone who has the key to the Halliburton Hurricane Machine.
Obama couldn't figure out how to put the key in the machine's ignition, since the instructions are not to be found in Valerie Jartett's rotten walnut of a brain or Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals (the only book Obama has ever read - or, more likely, had read to him). And the teleprompter's archives have turned up nothing from any of the speeches he's given in any of the 57 states.
Bob, you may be right, but, from what I can tell, Obama sees himself only as an "African American," and, being the uniter that he is (you know, hope plus change plus $5.00 will get you a gallon of gas), he hates All Things Caucasian. And who can blame him? If he claims his white, bourgeois lineage, what degree of faux victim outrage could he muster in implementing the final destruction of Evil AmeriKa?
TeaPartyNow| 8.27.12 @ 9:58AM
Obama is not black on the inside. He represents only what rich white elite liberals want in his policies. But it is more than that he is only black in a way that he uses it for politics. He never represents the black people of America, what they are inside, what they care for. Because most blacks are still good people. Horribly misguided in always voting democrat, but still very good people inside. And O and his Mrs. Michelle Queen of all damnation, their true color is demonic.
Occam's Tool| 8.25.12 @ 11:06PM
Why weren't they going to bradcast this? I mean, I understand the Lefty slant, but isn't this getting ridiculous?
RJ| 8.26.12 @ 3:30AM
I think they justified it on the grounds that that the Democratic Convention is only three days, so they would broadcast one three days of the Republican Convention. Of course, during one of the prior Presidential elections, one of the "news shows," after televising the Democratic Convention, stopped coverage a few weeks later during the Republican Convention on the basis that "there is no news here." What is consistent about the liberals is that they are never consistent in applying their own standards.
spike59| 8.27.12 @ 5:41AM
the networks are saying that they will provide 1 hr each night of the GOP convention; how much do you want to bet that that 3 hr total will be exceeded each and every night of the Democrat convention?
Mender| 8.26.12 @ 11:44AM
They were only going to broadcast the bits Biden showed up for.
bryan| 8.25.12 @ 11:13PM
Does this mean Huckabee won't be speaking at all now? Maybe another blessing in disguise, who knows what he might say about Akin.
TeaPartyNow| 8.27.12 @ 10:21AM
You are seriously afraid to stand up for conservative values, aren't you. Well guess what buddy, we have the biggest panderer we've ever had, and the whole of the right including Mark Levin, are pandering profusely along with him, and he is losing. Imagine that. The American People are sickened by republicans who refuse to stand up for conservative values, and do nothing but pander to liberals.
So it's lose lose for yourself, romney/ryan, and the whole of the pandering, drooling puss guts on the right. You are pathetic. Weak sauce in extreme baby. Just gross.
Kingofthenet| 8.26.12 @ 12:17AM
No, I wanna see Ann's Loser Horse go to the Knackers...'Boxer' this ain't the vet, try and get out...HAHA
spike59| 8.27.12 @ 5:42AM
stick around, you might get to see Bo go there as well; Puppy Porterhouse, anyone????
Jmel| 8.26.12 @ 9:38AM
Good. Perfect excuse to prevent that fool Huckabee from getting to speak. If Huckabee complains, Preibus can simply tell him to take it up with God. Well played.
Jake| 8.26.12 @ 2:33PM
Monday's cancellation is a positive if it prevents Huckabee from lecturing the party on it's intolerance
and lack of support of the Missouri Moron.
The latest Mason Dixon poll has Akin with a 17 % approval
and 56 % disapproval.
Huckabee's in danger of getting the Akin taint on him which will erase any positives from the CFA day.
50 % of Akin's supporters think he should withdraw.
A majority of McCaskill supporters and Democrats want him to stay in ,
how unexpected....
In this poll , Akin blew a 9 point lead ,
he's now down by 5 , a 14 point swing in a week.
So far, Romney still leads in this poll by 7, although he has dropped 2 points,
no doubt because of the Akin taint.
Huckabee and " dropping like a stone " Akin cannot be dissuaded
from continuing their bizarre crusade
to ruin the election for Republicans.
TeaPartyNow| 8.27.12 @ 10:16AM
Or maybe the American People hate panderers, like yourself, on the right. And that is why romney can't get a point up anywhere. Ever think about that oh, spineless wonder of a paid romney shill?
Bob Grant| 8.26.12 @ 5:36PM
This thing looks eerily similar to Katrina so I would consider postponing.
If the delegates have a problem with that...TOUGH.
Serious times call for serious - and nimble - responses.
It's all about crisis management. Something President Romney will have to learn to master.
TeaPartyNow| 8.27.12 @ 10:13AM
I can see you at home in the evening, with your candles all lit on the alter of republican government. And I gotta tell you, you are not American. You are some kind of a freak that this marxist culture put here to make us all puke from.
Go worship romney silently. And turn off Levin, he isn't helping you by teaching you how to worship liberal republicans.
Cobalt| 8.26.12 @ 7:10PM
Before this week ends, the media might help Obama upstage The Republican Convention, by focusing on his grand effort to help with Hurricane Isaac.
Occam's Tool| 8.26.12 @ 9:14PM
If the American people are stupid enough to vote in the Master of Economic Misery for a second term because of a mistaken comment by a Missouri Senatorial candidate, then they are quite stupid. Personally, I think Akin will blow over with the next horrific job figures. On the other hand, If Obama gets in I expect my 21 ounces of gold to be worth $10,000 per ounce by the time he is through, enough to pay off my mortgage 6 years early, and then the Republican who will follow (Ryan) will clean up the mess. If Romney gets in, I expect my gold to hit $3000/oz as the Europeans collapse, and I will sell at that time as the nuimismatic value will be double that, and I will be able to pay off my house 4 years earlier.
I live in a rural area. I'm very set for whatever happens, and ready to hunker down. But I feel sad for my fellow Americans.
TeaPartyNow| 8.27.12 @ 10:08AM
You've got it baby, an eye on the real storm. My honey keeps buying houses because they're so cheap. He hasn't gotten any gold. No, Romney will cause the steeper decline for America. His policies will outspend obama and cause America to fail completely. But Obama will merely continue the path we are on, which is damnation in itself.
But stay on those hard goods no matter what. We will be forced to liquidate if romney gets in. And we will be forced to downsize if obama gets in too. Just don't sell yet, things now can only get worse.
TeaPartyNow| 8.27.12 @ 10:02AM
I haven't had tv in my home for three years now. What I see is via youtube. But it's better that way too. I can skip they people that I dont like. And in my case, the only one I really love, speaks last anyway.
