A Rasmussen Reports
poll taken yesterday of 500 likely voters in Missouri has
Claire McCaskill, who should be the single most vulnerable Democrat
in the US Senate, 10 points ahead of Todd “Legitimate Rape”
Akin.
Akin needs to be told (as I’m sure he is being told) that this
is no longer about him and that he needs to be out of this race
immediately. I think there’s a 20% chance he gets out.
As for the question of whether a Missouri court allows him to
leave the race, I think it would seem so hyperpartisan to refuse
that I believe he would be allowed to leave, even by a
Democrat-majority State Supreme Court.

Don't doubt the powers of the MSM, Ross! A court refusing to let him be replaced would find all manner of justification on CNN.

Once the hate speech from his party "colleagues" and the commentariat ceases, this is easy ground to make up. All he needs then is funds -- probably the best case for a political donation this year.
Once in the Senate, he will be great. Solidly Conservative, very unlikely to slide left, and beholden to no-one!

Admit it, you bet money in 2010 that Christine O'Donnell would get elected to the Senate from Delaware.

As a Democrat, I like your thinking, Martin!

You think Democrats are going to be shamed by being called "hyperpartisan" by denying Republicans what could have been a sure senate pickup?
If so, you are thinking like a Republican.

I agree with Jeffrey Lord on this issue!!!!

Ain't it funny how all of a sudden no one is talkin' about Joe "y'all will be in chains" Biden?
