Across from my office in Mobile, AL, number of customers at chicken place STILL looks to be consistently higher than usual. I know I have eaten three meals there this week already, and I think lots of others continue to patronize Chick-fil-A in continuing backlash to Rahmbo’s attempted bullying. I love the spicy chicken sandwich. Great taste. Goes well with free speech.

Alraight, alright make me feel guilty for not getting over to CFA yet for a sandwich, okay? [as their CEO said I'm GUILTY AS CHARGED] I'm leaving now to go buy some gift certificates!!!!!!

Oldefarte| 8.7.12 @ 4:01PM

Okay I'm baaaaack with $20 worth of gift certificates which I'll pass out to family and friends!!!!!!

Libertyinfinite| 8.7.12 @ 3:24PM

Too bad the American People aren't affiliated with a Tea Party ticket this year, we might have made a real difference if we had better leadership.

You can celebrate chick-fil-A if you want, but I say that until we throw off both the republican & the democrat parties, & form a real Tea Party movement that is dedicated to real conservative values, things can only get worse.

The right will destroy itself more than anything trying to stand with someone who won't stand with conservatives like Mitt Romney.

We have to let the republicans go now, they aren't helping us anymore. & we need a conservative leader too.

JimT| 8.7.12 @ 4:01PM

That's all well and good for some time in the future but in November 2012 if you don't vote, or vote for anyone other than Romney, you are effectively voting for more Obama.

Libertyinfinite| 8.7.12 @ 4:12PM

How exactly is romney better than obama? He has just promised never to stand up for conservative values in America. His tax reforms are found only to benefit those making more than a million a year & cost people making less than 200 thou.. He will take this nation further into decline by taking the cause of conservatism & flushing it down the toilet. Let me ask you this, do you think that anyone would stand with obama or romney if there was a conservative Tea Party ticket now? Not that there is one. But I don't think anyone like either of these guys. & a true conservative in the race would take this nation where it needs to be anyway. I will never believe that romney is better than obama. & he certainly isn't qualified to help us. So wtf is the difference? Liberal left or liberal right, well if its liberal, I'll take left. Hello!

RJ| 8.7.12 @ 4:18PM

"I'll take left." Thanks for confirming the obvious.

Libertyinfinite| 8.7.12 @ 5:08PM

& you'll take the right if it's liberal? There are only crap eating morons active today. All of the real conservatives are sickened by your open display of ignorance. I suppose you believe that the right is flawless too, like precious above! Eat another pile bucky! Real conservatives are right to leave you.

Ah, brilliant analysis and sparkling repartee. I'm glad I found this site.

apnep| 8.8.12 @ 9:29AM

That's easy. Romney isn't an extremist muslim terrorist who stands for sharia law, enjoys the persecutions of Christians nor does he stir up divisiveness through race baiting. Vote Romney.

Occam's Tool| 8.8.12 @ 10:29AM

Dear Liberty: the difference is between a flawed patriotic American, and a traitor who hates this country. Between a human being and a Satanspawn.

Oldefarte| 8.8.12 @ 10:32AM

If you don't KNOW the difference between the two, then apparently you were equally thinking """"""""STUPIDLY""""""on 11/4/08 also, and are the REASON WHY we are now in the economic DEPRESSION. thank you for your DUMBASREDNESS that effect the rest of us!!!!

Oldefarte| 8.8.12 @ 10:34AM

PS: Please define for the rest of us what YOU mean by "cause of conservatism"!!!!!!!!

Mender| 8.7.12 @ 7:42PM

People, this is not good enough.

Look, I think Menino and Emanuel were going way beyond their jobs as well (disclosure: I come from a liberal family and support gay marriage), but this is a waste of time, and building up the impression that the GOP is a sack full of fat, flabby, angry old men in love with fast food. It's not what most voters care about.

Right now, Obama is winning. Obama has gone looking for votes in places Kerry and Gore never dreamed of (Colorado, Virginia, New Mexico) and he has found them. He's ahead in all those states right now. He has taken the fight to Romney and forced him into retreat. Romney's business experience is now reduced on the news to insisting that he didn't actually run his company really and that he doesn't agree with what he did. His higher revenue take reduced to denying he's a front for plutocrats. No talk about turning things around. No talk about pulling things back from the brink. So if conservatives want to win they need to start saying those things themselves and taking the fight to Obama.

Are the guy programming TOTUS? Get out of the White House basement and look around sometime.

Mick Lee| 8.8.12 @ 9:33AM

I don’t like chicken and I refuse to eat dinosaurs. I wish Chick-fil-A well; but I will not frequent an establishment just because leftwing bozos are giving it a hard time.
Then again, if the leftist bullies start picking on McDonald’s, now you’re talkin’ fightin' words.

Occam's Tool| 8.8.12 @ 2:28PM

Mick: may I refer you to the movie "Supersize Me?" Nuff said, sir.

Occam's Tool| 8.8.12 @ 10:31AM

I'm in the heart of Blue country, and there's NO passion for Obama. People may vote for him if they vote, but there's nothing like 2008. He's finished.

Oldefarte| 8.8.12 @ 10:36AM

OT, I hope and pray that your theory is correct, but since I'm still in shock from 11/4/08, I'm going to wait to BELIEVE IT ONCE I SEE IT [OCCUR] on 11/6/12!!!!!!!!

Oldefarte| 8.8.12 @ 5:15PM

PS: I'm currently reading THE POST AMERICAN PRESIDENCY by Pam Geller [and I highly recommend it] in which one of the thing discussed is the 80% Jewish vote for Obama in 2008, and his prior known associations [that were anti-Semitic, anti Jewish] that should have but didn't disuade the Jewish vote. A good read if you have done so already!!!!

Stick| 8.8.12 @ 1:01PM

Occam, the blue state thrill is gone. I noticed a sharp drop in Obama stickers/signs following the Obamacare fiasco. It would seem that some Dems have a sense of shame.
